Well, here we are. Victoria is two months old! I can't believe how fast these two months have gone past. As I type she is happily laying in her floor gym cooing and swatting at and hitting the toys with some success. Now when we change her diaper she is often smiling instead of screaming - a welcome change.
Due to some supply issues from our rough start with jaundice/lazy eating we are now trying to switch back to breastfeeding from feeding expressed breast milk and supplementing with formula. This new process of actual breastfeeding and then supplementing with expressed breast milk and formula, if needed, has increased feeding times a bit - which makes getting to places at a certain time more difficult. I have faith that eventually we will get this sorted out and our biggest struggle to date will be a thing of the past. And if not, that will be ok too.
Enough about breastfeeding though - some pretty fun things happened in the past month. Victoria started smiling - actual real smiles. She picked a great week to start as Grammy Ames was here from Nova Scotia.

I have made my return to the gym - I'm limited in my jumping ability as I have a bit of a bladder prolapse following delivery. Yet another thing that isn't talked about when people discuss having children. I'm seeing a pelvic floor physiotherapist and doing my exercises to get that silly bladder back to where it belongs. I'm hoping that there is no skipping in the Crossfit Open - as I will have to do them 25 skips at a time.
The dogs are adjusting to life with a baby - we haven't perfected our stroller walk yet, but we are getting better. The icy sidewalks are not assisting us.
I'm sure there were lots of other ups and downs over the past month but someone is getting restless and Victoria is getting hungry.
