As those of you that live in Edmonton know, it's snowing. Again. Most of you also know that I've been running outside. I'm not sure if all of you recognise how difficult it is to run outside in fresh snow. And this isn't just for the extra effort that you need to use to make you go - its also more difficult mentally to take the first step and then keep going. At least it is for me.
Oh well, at least the fire risk should be lower at the start of summer....
Tomorrow I'm meant to do some interval training - 3 minutes at a fast pace followed by 3 minutes slow for a total of six times. Then Saturday I'm going to be mean to my legs and do Karen followed by up to 90 double unders all in 12 minutes. For those of you that don't Crossfit, Karen is a name of a workout - she is mean - 150 wallball shots. This is Open workout 13.3 - on this workout last year I scored 160. Goal this year is 170-180.
