So, we are now in week 36 (technically that's tomorrow) and I was was supposed to do an update at week 32. I didn't. Since last time we've celebrated Bryan's birthday, Hallowe'en, my grandmother's 90th and Remembrance day.
Things are still going great with the pregnancy. Little baby Gomes continues to grow as do I! I'm down to single digits of days left of work. I'm now on the weekly doctor visit schedule and will be seeing my Doula again to do some final prep for the big day. I've still been able to make it to the gym two to three times a week. At the moment, the hardest part of the gym is putting on and tying of the shoes. Once I have that done and out of the way the rest of the visit seems to go just fine! A big thanks to all of the coaches at Champ City Crossfit for taking the time/making the effort to help me scale workouts these past few months. It's been greatly appreciated and hopefully pays off making delivery/recovery much smoother than sitting at home watching hockey (Go Habs Go).
Seamus and I made a trek up to Slave Lake to visit with Jenn. He enjoyed trying to get to meet Mexi and of course the trip to the beach with Echo, Breton and Nala! The next trip up there will be a bit different...but maybe I'll be able to stay awake past 10...
Bryan and I made a couple of batches of pasta sauce to sustain us through the winter...although I'm thinking we will run out before spring if I'm in charge of meal planning. Pasta all the time!! There was a pretty amazing moon eclipse (red moon). We had pretty good seats on our couch and the tripod came in handy to capture a couple of nice shots from the front walk.
Likely the next post there will be wee little baby photos and the story of how baby Gomes made their entrance...
