The CrossFit Games that is and they actually started last week but who's counting? For those of you that don't know what the CrossFit Open is - shame on you. To steal a quote from the official web page :
"The 2013 Reebok CrossFit Games season is a three-stage test of fitness, comprised of the Open, Regionals, and the world championships, the CrossFit Games.
The season kicks off with the Open, the most inclusive competition in the world. The top athletes and teams in each region from the Open will move onto Regionals. The best athletes and teams at Regionals will compete at the CrossFit Games, the world’s premier test to find the Fittest on Earth™."
My goal for this year is to do better than I did last year. Pretty simple goal really. After the first workout I feel that this is definitely something that I can (and will) accomplish. You can track my progress below with the awesome people at my gym.
In running news, I've been having a bit of an issue with my bad leg - random pain while walking at the fracture site and some dull pain while actually jogging. Went to the DR. - she was baffled and told me to go see physio if it continued. I attempted a run this morning - in ankle+ deep snow and only made it a mile before pulling the pin. Try again on Monday.
