So my fear is becoming a reality. I got back from my slow (training plan called for slow - honest) 3 mile jog yesterday and I felt great. Alive, awake and alert. A person could get use to that! As I had the day off work I had slept in, til 6:30, had a lunch date with friends and didn't run til 3pm. In daylight. Crazy.
So much less thinking when you run in daylight! Although the snow was very slushy and the actual running part was harder - new shoes were great though. Lots of traction. Jo and Jill I hope you run a few runs at night, on a trail before the big day.
Only four months to go!
On an unrelated note, pretty sure I just broke my two taco shells that I was taking in for lunch. Taco salad it is!
